Shangri-La Eros New Delhi invites gourmands to savour great Maratha cuisine at Tamra from 11 to 13 July 2024, curated by Chef Sonal Naik Nimbalkar Mahurkar, hailing from the famous Wathar Nimbalkar family of Phaltan, in collaboration with Chef Pin. Chef Sonal brings a fresh twist to traditional cuisine. With deep roots in Maharashtra's rich history, she reimagines classic Marathi dishes using local and seasonal ingredients. Her delicacies blend timeless recipes with innovative techniques, resulting in flavourful and zesty meals. Providing an exceptional dining experience, Shangri-La Eros New Delhi aims to bring authentic and soulful Maratha food to its patrons.
The culinary expedition begins with an array of appetisers, including the succulent Bhakar Wala Mutton, Prawns in Kala Masala, a Parsundi Kheema Dish, and much more. Continuing the culinary voyage, guests can delight their taste buds with the comforting warmth of Tharachi Biryani in Garam Masala Marinade, the velvety richness of Pandhara Rassa from Kolhapur or delicious Sukkha Chicken. Furthermore, vegetarian mains entice patrons with diverse menu items ranging from Bharva Bengan to Wadi Rassa.
Guests can explore forgotten royal recipes, rediscovered local delicacies and rare flavours from the region's rich culinary past. Whether they're an Indian cuisine connoisseur or an enthusiast for fine dining, this exclusive Chef Pin pop-up event at Tamra offers patrons a rare taste of the Maratha community’s diverse and historically rich food culture.
The pop-up is available for the lunch and dinner buffet at the international cuisine restaurant, Tamra. The lunch buffet is priced at INR 3,000 plus taxes per person and the dinner buffet is priced at INR 3,200 plus taxes per person.
