The movie earned a huge amount of Rs 164.25 crore on the first day after earning 10.65 crores in paid previews and became the biggest opening Indian film. After this, the film's income decreased a little on the second day and the film earned Rs 93.8 crore in all languages.
The film showed an increase in earnings on the third day as the weekend came and it again crossed 100 crores. The film earned Rs 119.25 crore on the third day. The film has collected a total of Rs 529.45 crore so far with a collection of Rs 141.5 crore till 10:40 on the fourth day.
Pushpa 2 not only broke the records of Bollywood, Hollywood, and South's all-time blockbuster films like Jailer, Leo, and PK, apart from Avengers End Game (373.05 crores), it also surpassed Dangal's lifetime collection in India (387.38).
The film not only broke the records of the big films mentioned above but also surpassed Avatar (The Way of Water)'s Rs 391.4 crore. The lifetime collections of Salazar's first part, Robot's second part, and Baahubali (Rs 421 crore) have also been left behind.
