Vinod Kambli Hospitalized After Health Scare, Opens Up About His Struggles
Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, known for his remarkable partnership with Sachin Tendulkar during their playing days, was admitted to Akriti Hospital in Thane after his health deteriorated over the weekend. Reports indicate that while his condition is stable, he remains under close observation.
A video shared on social media showed Kambli giving a thumbs-up gesture from his hospital bed, providing some relief to his fans. However, concerns about his health had been brewing after a series of viral videos showcased the cricketer struggling during public appearances.
In a candid conversation, the 52-year-old opened up about the health challenges he has been facing. Kambli revealed he had been battling a severe urine infection that caused him to collapse a month ago. He credited his wife and children for standing by him during this tough phase, ensuring he received proper medical care.
"My wife took me to three different hospitals and made sure I got the treatment I needed. My son and daughter also supported me unconditionally. Ajay Jadeja even visited me, which lifted my spirits," Kambli shared in an interview.
Despite the scare, Kambli remains optimistic about his recovery, expressing gratitude for his family’s unwavering support and the concern shown by his fans and friends from the cricketing world.
