Five journalists, from a Palestinian TV channel were killed in a strike by Israel in the central Gaza Strip. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said in a statement that it was "devastated by the reports and Journalists are civilians and must always be protected," it said.
Since the start of the war, more than 130 Palestinian reporters have been killed according to the Committee to Protect Journalists.
The Palestinian Journalists Union said one strike killed five journalists from the Al-Quds Today channel who were in a broadcast vehicle in front of Al-Awda Hospital in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. "The occupation has set new conditions related to withdrawal, ceasefire, prisoners, and the return of the displaced, which has delayed reaching the agreement that was available," Hamas said.
