The name Kekius Maximus isn’t just a playful moniker—it’s tied to the rapidly trending memecoin, KEKIUS. Inspired by the Pepe meme and the Gladiator movie’s hero, this coin saw a staggering 500% rise in value shortly after Musk’s move, according to CoinGecko. The trend didn't stop there; several related cryptocurrencies also gained momentum, with some surging over 200%.

 

Musk has remained cryptic about his reasons for the name change, but his witty posts have fueled speculation. In one shared post, he joked about journalists having to reference his new title in their articles, calling the scenario “priceless.”
