The 52-year-old was admitted to Akruti Hospital on December 21 due to a urinary infection and muscle cramps, with subsequent tests revealing brain clots. Thankfully, he is on the mend.

Kambli, who played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for India, expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking his fans and hospital staff for their support during his recovery. He emphasized that he has come this far because of their encouragement and also thanked Shailesh Thakur, the hospital director, for his assistance.
