Adani Hails Chess Prodigy D Gukesh and His Inspirational Journey

Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani recently met 18-year-old chess sensation D Gukesh, calling it an honor to interact with the youngest-ever World Chess Champion. Sharing his thoughts on social media, Adani praised Gukesh’s determination and the sacrifices made by his parents, Dr. Rajinikanth and Dr. Padmavathi, which played a crucial role in the young grandmaster’s success.

“Meeting his parents was equally inspiring. Their unwavering support and quiet sacrifices have built the foundation of his remarkable journey,” Adani shared.

Gukesh made history on December 12, 2024, by defeating China’s Ding Liren to claim the World Chess Championship title. Earlier in the year, he became the youngest challenger in history after his victory in the Candidate’s tournament.

Adani lauded Gukesh’s brilliance and poise, calling him a symbol of India’s rising youth. “At just 18, he’s leading a new generation of champions, showcasing the confidence of a resurgent India ready to conquer the global chess scene. Jai Hind!” he concluded.

Gukesh’s story is not just a personal triumph but a testament to the growing dominance of Indian talent on the global stage.
