Elon Musk Explains Tesla Cybertruck Blast: "Triggered by Massive Fireworks"
Elon Musk Links Cybertruck Explosion to Large Fireworks and Possible Terrorism

Elon Musk took to social media to clarify that the recent explosion involving a Tesla Cybertruck was caused by "very large fireworks and/or a bomb" carried in the truck, emphasizing that it was not a malfunction of the vehicle itself. “All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion,” Musk stated on X.

In response to the incident, which left one person dead and seven injured in Las Vegas, Tesla's senior team is currently investigating the matter. “We’ve never seen anything like this,” the company added.

Musk also suggested a potential connection between the Cybertruck explosion and a violent incident in New Orleans, where a suspect used a rented Ford pickup truck to drive into crowds, resulting in 15 fatalities. Both vehicles were rented through the car-sharing service Turo.

President Joe Biden confirmed that authorities are looking into the Las Vegas explosion and its possible ties to the New Orleans attack. He assured that federal, state, and local law enforcement resources are being mobilized for a thorough investigation.

As the investigation unfolds, officials are trying to determine if the two incidents are linked, raising concerns about a potential act of terrorism.
