Mukesh and Anant Ambani Offer Prayers at Somnath Temple After Visiting Dwarkadhish

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, accompanied by his son Anant Ambani, visited the iconic Somnath Mahadev Temple in Gujarat on January 4. The duo performed jalabhishek and offered traditional worship materials and garments, as reported by the Somnath Trust. Mukesh Ambani also prayed for the nation’s peace, prosperity, and well-being.

The Somnath Temple, located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Gujarat, is a revered site and is considered the first of the twelve jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. It attracts devotees and tourists from across the globe. Interestingly, the temple features an inscription on one of its towers, stating that a straight path from this point leads unobstructed to the South Pole.

The visit to Somnath followed the Ambanis' prayers at the Dwarkadhish Temple, another significant spiritual site in Gujarat. Videos of their temple visits, conducted under tight security, have been circulating widely on social media.

This spiritual tour coincides with the 25th anniversary celebrations of Reliance’s Jamnagar refinery, a monumental milestone for the Ambani-led conglomerate. Mukesh Ambani highlighted the global significance of Jamnagar, noting its leadership in oil refining, solar energy, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and gigafactories. The event saw notable personalities like Shah Rukh Khan and Home Minister Amit Shah in attendance.

Known for their deep faith, the Ambani family regularly visits key temples in Gujarat, reaffirming their spiritual connection alongside their business achievements.
