Indian high-net-worth individuals are increasingly investing in bespoke, luxury timepieces from renowned Swiss watchmakers. For example, a business family in Maharashtra has commissioned a one-of-a-kind grand fireplace clock, valued between ₹5-6 crore, from a prestigious French brand, April H., known for crafting luxury timepieces for over 300 years.

 

In another case, a 40-year-old watch enthusiast from Delhi acquired a custom Ludovic Ballouard watch for ₹1.6 crore. The Geneva-based brand, known for its exclusivity, creates watches starting at $70,000 (around ₹60 lakh), and this collector personalized his piece by engraving his children's birthdates.
