AAP Revises Candidates for Narela and Hari Nagar Ahead of Delhi Assembly Elections
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced changes to its candidate list for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, specifically for the Narela and Hari Nagar constituencies. In the revised list, Sharad Chauhan will continue as the candidate for Narela, replacing Dinesh Bharadwaj, who was initially nominated. For the Hari Nagar seat, Surindra Setia has been selected as the new candidate, taking over from Raj Kumari Dhillon.

These changes come after AAP had previously announced candidates for all 70 assembly seats across four lists. The fourth list, released on December 15, included 38 candidates, while earlier lists featured 20 and 11 candidates respectively. The assembly elections in Delhi are scheduled for February 5, with all seats contested in a single phase, and the results will be declared on February 8.

The upcoming election is expected to see a competitive landscape involving AAP, BJP, and Congress, with AAP aiming to maintain its governance since 2013. Historically, BJP has struggled to secure a significant number of seats in previous elections, while Congress has not won any seats in recent contests.
