Elon Musk Discusses Growing India-US Trade Relations with Indian Business Leaders
During a visit to his SpaceX Starbase facility in Texas, tech mogul Elon Musk shared his optimism about the strengthening trade ties between India and the US. Speaking to a group of prominent Indian business leaders, Musk highlighted the potential for deeper collaboration, particularly in technology and space exploration.
Musk expressed support for lowering trade barriers to boost commerce between the two nations, calling India a "great and complex civilization" with significant potential in global innovation.
The meeting, organized by the India Global Forum (IGF), included leaders from diverse industries, such as Prashant Ruia (Essar Capital), Ritesh Agarwal (OYO), and Kalyan Raman (Flipkart). The delegation toured SpaceX's cutting-edge facilities and witnessed the successful launch of Starship Flight 7.
Musk emphasized the importance of strengthening global partnerships, especially in light of the upcoming Trump presidency, and discussed the opportunities India’s growing role in innovation presents for both countries.
