Ravindra Jadeja has officially returned to domestic cricket, joining the Saurashtra team as they prepare for their next Ranji Trophy match. On Sunday morning, he participated in training sessions, indicating his readiness to compete. A representative from the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) confirmed to Cricbuzz that Jadeja will take part in the upcoming game.
"Ravindra Jadeja will play the next Ranji game," said Himanshu Shah, secretary of the SCA. The team will be captained by Jaydev Unadkat as they face Delhi starting January 23 at Ground C, near the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
Jadeja's last appearance in a Ranji match was in January 2023 when he led Saurashtra against Tamil Nadu in Chennai. That game served as a fitness test for him following a knee injury before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023.
