Two-time Olympic medalist and javelin star Neeraj Chopra is officially off the market! The athlete shared the exciting news on Instagram, announcing his marriage to Himani, who is currently pursuing studies in the USA. In a heartfelt post, Neeraj wrote, "Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after."

 

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. A standout moment from the shared pictures was Neeraj’s mother blessing him during a traditional ritual. The athlete’s uncle revealed that a reception will also be hosted soon to celebrate the joyous occasion.

 

Upcoming Javelin Competition in India

 

On the professional front, Neeraj is set to make history by hosting a Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition in India, supported by World Athletics and the Athletics Federation of India. Expected to take place in May, the event will feature top javelin throwers from around the globe, including Neeraj himself.

 

Expressing his excitement, Neeraj said, "It has always been my dream to bring a world-class javelin competition to India. With support from JSW Sports and the Athletics Federation of India, this dream is now a reality. I’m thrilled for my fellow athletes and Indian fans."
