Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra surprised fans by announcing his marriage to Himani Mor in a heartfelt social media post. The intimate ceremony, held in Himachal, was attended by 40-50 close family members and friends. Sharing the happy news, Neeraj wrote, "Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after." The two-time Olympic medallist also sought support and blessings from his fans as he embarked on this new journey.

 

Who Is Himani Mor?

 

Himani Mor, 25, is a talented tennis player hailing from Sonipat, Haryana. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Sports Management at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire, USA. An alumnus of Delhi's Miranda House, Himani holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Education.

 

Himani has an impressive sports background, having represented India at the 2017 World University Games in Taipei. She also clinched gold at the 2016 World Junior Tennis Championship in Malaysia. Her brother, Himanshu Mor, is also a tennis player.

 

According to Neeraj's uncle, Bhim Chopra, the couple has left the country for their honeymoon. He shared, “The wedding was a simple affair, and we wanted to keep it private. Himani is a remarkable girl, and we are excited to welcome her into the family.”
