Gautam Gambhir Faces Serious Abuse Allegations from Manoj Tiwary
The long-standing tension between Gautam Gambhir and Manoj Tiwary has flared up once again, with Tiwary accusing the former cricketer of using abusive language and threats. In a recent interview, Tiwary recalled an intense argument during their time at Kolkata Knight Riders that almost turned physical.
Tiwary shared that the dispute began over his batting position, with Gambhir allegedly threatening him, saying, “I won’t give you a game.” The confrontation escalated until KKR's bowling coach, Wasim Akram, intervened to defuse the situation.
Tiwary also recounted a heated incident during a Ranji Trophy match in 2015, where Gambhir allegedly hurled offensive slurs at him from the slips. The argument got so intense that Tiwary claimed Gambhir threatened to beat him up later. Tiwary stood his ground, suggesting they resolve the issue immediately.
Tiwary expressed that such behavior, especially coming from a senior player, was unacceptable, pointing out that the umpires were powerless to intervene due to Gambhir’s influence.
