Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar heaped praise on young talent Tilak Varma, likening his composure and match-winning abilities to the legendary MS Dhoni. Manjrekar’s comments came after Tilak’s brilliant 72* off 55 balls guided India to a thrilling victory against England in the second T20I, despite losing wickets at the other end.

 

Manjrekar highlighted Tilak's calm approach under pressure, reminiscent of Dhoni's finishing style. "Even in the final overs, he remained unfazed and focused on taking India over the line.
