CSK Star Shivam Dube Becomes India’s T20I Lucky Charm, Creates World Record with Historic Milestone
Shivam Dube Scripts History: Becomes First Player to Win 30 Consecutive T20Is

Shivam Dube has emerged as India's ultimate lucky charm in T20 cricket, creating history by becoming the first player ever to win 30 consecutive matches in the format at the top level. His unbeaten streak continued as India clinched a 4-1 series win over England, solidifying his status as a key asset for the national team.

Dube’s journey in international cricket began in 2019 against Bangladesh, but after a couple of early losses, his fortunes—and India’s—took a turn for the better. His winning streak started in December 2019 against West Indies under Virat Kohli's captaincy, and he played a vital role in India's 5-0 whitewash of New Zealand in 2020. Despite a brief setback that saw him dropped from the squad, he made a strong comeback in 2023 against Ireland and was a crucial part of India's victorious T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.

Most recently, Dube stepped in as a replacement for Nitish Kumar Reddy in the England T20I series, delivering a match-winning fifty in Pune to help India seal the series.

Dube’s Impact in T20Is

The Mumbai all-rounder has featured in 35 T20Is for India, scoring 531 runs, including four fifties, with his highest knock being 63 off 32 balls against Afghanistan in 2024. He has also contributed with the ball, taking 13 wickets, with a best of 3/30 against Bangladesh.

Domestic Call-Up for Ranji Trophy

Following India’s series win, Dube has been named in Mumbai’s squad for the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals against Haryana, starting February 8. He will join India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav in an 18-member squad as Mumbai eyes domestic glory.

From international dominance to domestic cricket, Shivam Dube continues to make an impact, proving to be a match-winner whenever he steps on the field.
