India's farm ministry has projected a record wheat harvest of 115.4 million metric tons for 2025, surpassing the previous year's production of 113.3 million tons.

This increase is attributed to farmers expanding their planting area with high-yielding seed varieties, encouraged by higher state-set guaranteed prices.
