Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh announced plans to include the historic Vontimitta Ramalayam in Kadapa district under a temple tourism initiative. Speaking in the state legislative council, he revealed a proposal to develop a religious tourism circuit connecting various temples in the region. The government also plans to introduce boating activities in the Vontimitta Tank to enhance the tourist experience.
These efforts aim to promote Vontimitta Ramalayam, a 16th-century temple known for its Vijayanagara architectural style, as a key destination for spiritual tourism.
