In his first ever address, Pakistan's newly-appointed army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa raised Kashmir issue, asking its soldirs to respond to India with full force, media reports said.
"Each violation of any kind must be responded to with full force in the most effective manner," Pakistan's newly-appointed army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said during his visit to 10 Corps Rawalpindi and other borders.
India's aggressive posture is only an attempt to shift focus from atrocities being commited by Indian army in Kashmir, he said adding that the issue will be resolved in line with United Nations (UN) resolutions keeping in view the aspirations of the Kashmiri people in order to achieve lasting regional peace.
57-year-old Bajwa has been appointed as Pakistan's new army chief after General Raheel Sharif retired on Tuesday.
