While Microsoft hasn't officially confirmed the release yet, these updates are expected to make their debut later this year, building on the current Germanium platform that powers Windows 11 version 24H2.
A key factor driving these updates is Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon X2 chip, which needs specific platform tweaks to run smoothly on Windows 11. Until now, these necessary adjustments have only been available in the Windows Canary Channel, but Microsoft is now bringing them to the more stable Dev Channel. This move is aimed at ensuring broader compatibility and smoother performance for devices running the Snapdragon X2 chip, giving users with the latest hardware a better experience on Windows 11.
