On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the first sitting Prime Minister to visit the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur. This visit comes at a time when the BJP leadership appears to be mending ties with its ideological parent following reports of some tensions last year.
Modi's visit coincided with the birth anniversary of RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, during which he paid tribute at the memorial located in Reshim Bagh. He was accompanied by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, marking a significant moment in the relationship between the BJP and the RSS.
The Prime Minister's presence at the headquarters is seen as a gesture of unity and alignment, reinforcing the bond between the ruling party and its foundational organization.
