Hacking Twitter account of prominent people like Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Vijay Mallya has been in the news for quite some time. Earlier Saturday a group called Legion has reportedly hacked other eminent journalists Ravish Kumar and Barkha Dutt's Twitter account.

"We use Twitter as a means to reach the public. We don't just hack Twitter accounts, go through the data and find out," the group posted a tweet signing "Legion".

"Coming up next - @LalitKModi leaks. Stay tuned," they posted in a subsequent tweet.

According to the news reports, the hackers had tweeted out Barkha Dutt's email ID and password, while posting "long live the legion".

Later, the news channel NDTV has issued a communique saying that attemnpts are being made to hack email ids of their journalists. The channel also requested authorities and concerned court to take strong action against the people involved in it.

However, the Ravish Kumar's Twitter account has been restored and all the derogatory posts have been deleted successfully.

Legion had earlier hacked Vijay Mallya's Twitter account, posting a series of tweets claiming details of Mallya's assets at several banks and passwords of accounts. 

The same group has been reportedly involved in hacking Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's account, claiming that he has the brains of a 5-year-old.
