Motorola already announced the Moto Edge 60 in some parts of the world including Europe, now it is ready to launch it in China. However, when it arrives on May 8, it will come along with a new sibling that will be sold as the Moto Edge 60s.
The Moto Edge 60s looks like the Moto Edge 60 with its quad-curved design, Pantone colors, and textured back. It also shares some of its specifications with the Edge 60 such as a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz display with a centered punch hole; a peak brightness of 4500 nits; dual IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating, and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 68W fast wired charging. The two phones will also have 12GB of RAM and the option of 256GB or 512GB of storage. Where both phones differ is in the camera configuration.
The Moto Edge 60 has a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 10MP 3x optical zoom telephoto camera while the Moto Edge 60s will have a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide angle camera. The Edge 60s will also pack a 32MP front-facing camera instead of the 50MP sensor on the Motorola Edge 60. If the camera specs are familiar, that's because that is the same configuration on the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion.
The Moto Edge 60s will be available in Polar Rose, Glacier Mint, and Misty Iris while the Edge 60 will be available in Green Grape Iced Tea and Blue Soda. It remains to be seen if the Moto Edge 60s will be the last of the Edge 60 family which also includes the Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Fusion, and Edge 60 Stylus a.k.a. Moto G Stylus 2025.
