At an award function TCS CEO N Chandrasekaran appreciated the hard work done by the bank employees in the country. He stressed that all of them should be saluted for the consistent effort they have made after the ban on high denomination notes in the country.

"All the bankers... need to be saluted for what they have done in the last six weeks. It is easy to work like this for a weekend but very hard to sustain the effort for so many weeks." 

Demonetisation is likely to affect us in the short term, while it will have its benefit in the medium and ling term.
