BJP President Amit Shah has got a clean chit from the Police in violation of code of conduct complaints pending against him in Uttar Pradesh. No evidence was found against Amit Shah to have involved in the cases, UP Police said in its report.
During Lok Sabha election in 2014, Police had registered complaint against Shah under sections 188 IPC (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 123(3) of Representation of People Act (relating to appeal by a candidate to vote on basis of religion, race, caste, community or language) and on the complaint of Assistant Returning Officer Ram Kumar separately in Kakroli and New Mandi police stations in the district.
