Primebook Unveils Two New Android Laptops in India Under ₹20,000
Indian homegrown brand Primebook has introduced two new laptops to its lineup in India, the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max. Following the brand’s focus on students, learners, freelancers, and programmers, these laptops are priced below ₹20,000.
Specifications of Primebook 2 Pro and 2 Max
Both models run on Prime OS 3.0, which is based on Android 15. They are powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and come with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Storage options include 128GB for the Primebook 2 Pro and up to 256GB for the Primebook 2 Max.
The Primebook 2 Max sports a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS Anti-glare display, while the Primebook 2 Pro comes with a slightly smaller 14.1-inch Full HD IPS Anti-glare screen.
For audio and communication, both laptops feature a stereo speaker setup, dual microphones with noise cancellation, and a 1440p webcam. Users will also get a backlit keyboard, dual band Wi-Fi supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
In terms of ports, the laptops include two USB-A slots, a USB Type-C slot for charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MicroSD card slot that supports storage expansion up to 1TB.
Both laptops come in a single Chill Grey color option and are equipped with a 60.3 Wh battery. The Primebook 2 Pro claims up to 14 hours of battery life, while the Primebook 2 Max offers up to 12 hours.
Primebook also includes the Prime App store on both laptops, giving access to popular Android applications such as WhatsApp and BGMI. Additionally, the laptops feature a dedicated AI key for activating Gemini and a new AI-based search tool that allows natural language queries for files, apps, and settings.
Price and Availability
The Primebook 2 Pro is priced at ₹17,990, while the Primebook 2 Max is available for ₹19,990. Both laptops can be purchased through Flipkart, Amazon, and Primebook’s official website. Customers making prepaid payments will receive an extra ₹500 discount.
