Police sources revealed that all the occupants were wearing wristbands from a local pub, indicating they may have attended a late-night party before heading toward Jharsa Chowk.
The accident took place near Exit 9 on National Highway 48 when the speeding Thar lost control and crashed into the divider. Five people—three women and two men—died instantly, while another man suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for treatment. Authorities said the group had travelled from Uttar Pradesh to Gurugram prior to the crash.
