Telugu Language Day Celebrated in Saudi Arabia
Telugu Language Day was celebrated in Saudi Arabia in a vibrant event organised by SATA in collaboration with the TDP NRI Committee. The programme brought together more than 2,000 Telugu NRIs, highlighting the global presence and cultural pride of the community.
The event showcased Andhra Pradesh’s P4 model, which focuses on Public-Private-People partnerships to achieve a poverty-free state by 2047. This initiative underlined the role of collaborative efforts in fostering sustainable development and inclusive growth.
Addressing the gathering virtually, the Andhra Pradesh Minister for MSME encouraged NRIs to actively participate in supporting the state’s development initiatives and strengthen cultural ties abroad.
In a show of commitment, over 100 NRIs pledged to assist vulnerable families and promote Telugu language and culture on a global scale, reaffirming the community’s dedication to preserving their heritage while contributing to social progress.
