Google Launches Search Live in India, Expands Al Mode to Seven More Indian Languages

 

Google has officially introduced its Search Live feature to users in India, making the country the first after the United States to receive the update. This Al-powered functionality allows users to interact with Google Search using their phone's camera and microphone, enabling real-time conversations while fetching up-to-date information from the web.

 

Search Live works similarly to the Gemini Live feature available in the Gemini app, but with one key difference. While Gemini Live provides interactive responses, Search Live actively searches the internet during the conversation to provide the most current results. The feature is being gradually rolled out to users in India and will soon be available to more users. Initially, Search Live can be used in Hindi and English. Google also noted that Indian users make up the largest audience globally for voice and visual search on the platform.

1. Ensure the Google app on your Android or iOS device is updated to the latest version.
