Donald Trump Declared in ‘Exceptional Health’; Cardiac Age Found to Be 14 Years Younger Than Actual
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has been declared in “exceptional health” following his latest medical examination, according to a memo released on Friday. The report revealed that Trump’s “cardiac age” — a metric assessing heart health — was approximately 14 years younger than his real age.
According to his physician, Trump continues to demonstrate excellent cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical health. The memo added that he had also completed a series of preventive screenings and received routine immunizations, including his annual flu shot and an updated COVID-19 booster, ahead of upcoming international engagements.
The report stated, “His cardiac age, determined through a validated ECG-based assessment, is nearly 14 years below his chronological age.”
Now 79 years old, Trump holds the record as the oldest U.S. president at the time of inauguration and remains the second-oldest individual to have served in the role.
On Friday morning, he visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, for his annual medical checkup, during which he also met and interacted with military personnel. The visit followed a comprehensive physical evaluation conducted six months earlier.
A previous White House health summary from April noted that Trump stands 6 feet 3 inches (190 cm) tall and weighs 224 pounds (102 kg). It also mentioned that his cholesterol levels remain well-controlled and highlighted his continued active lifestyle, including regular golf sessions as part of his fitness routine.
