Tamil Nadu CM Launches ₹23.76 Crore Tourism Development Projects
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation for a series of tourism development projects across the state, with a combined investment of ₹23.76 crore covering nine major destinations.
The projects are designed to promote eco-tourism, enhance infrastructure, and improve visitor experiences. Key initiatives include the creation of eco-camp sites, development of adventure tourism facilities, modernization of accommodation options, upgrading natural attractions, and improving tourist amenities.
Officials expect these measures to strengthen sustainable tourism, generate employment opportunities, boost regional economies, and further position Tamil Nadu as a premier tourism destination in India.
The event was attended by Tourism Minister R. Rajendran, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, Additional Chief Secretary and TTDC Chairman Dr. K. Manivasan, TTDC Managing Director T. Christuraj, along with other senior officials.
