More than 51,000 newly selected candidates are set to receive appointment letters at the 20th Rozgar Mela on September 19, 2026. The programme will be conducted through video conferencing at 12:30 PM, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to address the newly appointed candidates on the occasion.

The event will take place simultaneously at 45 locations across the country. The selected candidates will join different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Defence.

The Rozgar Mela is part of the ongoing recruitment initiative focused on providing employment opportunities to young people and increasing their participation in government services. With the 20th edition, the total number of young people receiving appointment letters through the programme is expected to reach around 12.75 lakh.
