British Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson won the women's 800 metres at the Athlos London event after producing a strong finish over the final part of the race. She recorded a time of 1 minute 56.40 seconds at StoneX Stadium.

Hodgkinson pulled clear of her rivals during the final 200 metres and finished more than two seconds ahead of the rest of the field. The victory came after a difficult season that included a hamstring injury.

The London event was the first Athlos competition held outside the United States. The meeting featured several women's track and field events, with winners receiving significant prize money.
