Europe accounted for 31.8 per cent, while the United Kingdom alone represented 15.4 per cent.
Most Indian software services were delivered through the off site mode, which contributed 91.7 per cent of total exports. When services provided through overseas commercial presence are also included, total software services exports grew 9.5 per cent to 239.3 billion dollars during 2025 to 26.
The survey also recorded growth in the local software operations of foreign affiliates of Indian companies. Their business increased to 17.9 billion dollars in 2025 to 26, compared with 13.9 billion dollars in the previous year. The United States and the United Kingdom continued to be among the major markets for these operations.
