A Dhaka court has ordered three leaders and activists linked to the activities banned Awami League and its affiliated organisations to remain in jail in connection with an alleged flash procession held in Gulshan on September 11.

The court passed the order after police presented the accused and requested that they remain in custody while the investigation continues. The case relates to an alleged procession in the Gulshan area where crude explosive devices were reportedly used, causing panic among local residents.

The incident involved a larger gathering of party leaders and activists. Police had earlier detained several people at the location and reported recovering crude explosive devices. Investigators later examined CCTV recordings and other videos connected with the procession, leading to further arrests.
