Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to interact through video conference with participants of the Seva Yatra travelling from Vadnagar to Varanasi as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
The journey began on September 17 and involves 10 groups travelling through towns, districts, talukas and villages. The initiative focuses on community service, youth participation and public engagement at the local level.
During the journey, participants have been involved in cleanliness campaigns and interactions with residents and beneficiaries. They have also taken part in activities at schools, hospitals, nursing homes and other community locations.
The organisers have described the journey as more than a motorcycle expedition, with activities centred on social service, communication, youth involvement, cultural engagement and community participation.
The Vadnagar to Varanasi journey is scheduled to continue until October 7. The broader initiative includes motorcycle journeys between Vadnagar and Varanasi, with young participants travelling across several states, districts and villages while taking part in service related activities.
