Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary, recalling his emphasis on the welfare and upliftment of people at the last end of society. Modi said this vision formed an important part of his approach to nation building.
The Prime Minister highlighted the principle of Antyodaya and said the philosophy continues to inspire efforts aimed at public welfare. He also called on people to follow Upadhyaya’s thoughts and ideals while carrying out their responsibilities towards society and the nation.
On the occasion, Modi also shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam centred on perseverance, effort and dedicated action, highlighting their importance in achieving success and encouraging innovation.
