TFP Group, known as The Fidelis Partnership, has filed for an initial public offering in the United States as the company prepares to enter the public market. The filing comes as activity in the US IPO market remains relatively limited.
The company was established as a standalone business in 2023 after Fidelis Insurance was divided into separate entities. Based in Hamilton, Bermuda, TFP originates and underwrites specialty insurance across more than 150 business lines in over 140 countries.
For the six months ended June 30, TFP reported net income of $127.5 million on revenue of $407.5 million, compared with net income of $74.5 million on revenue of $365.9 million during the same period a year earlier.
TFP and some existing shareholders plan to sell shares through the offering. The company is expected to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TFP, with Morgan Stanley, Barclays and J.P. Morgan among the underwriters.
