The Capacity Building Commission is organising Sādhana Shrinkhla 2026, a nationwide series of regional consultations aimed at transforming government Training Institutes under Mission Karmayogi into strategic and competency focused Capacity Building Institutions.

The initiative builds on earlier discussions held through four Regional Task Forces, Sādhana Saptah 2026 conducted from 2 to 8 April, and the National Departmental Summit held on 15 May on institutionalising capacity building and linking training with performance based governance.

The regional workshops will be conducted over one and a half days and will bring together senior officials from States and Union Territories, heads and faculty members of Training Institutes, public sector organisations, industry partners, subject experts and startup representatives.

The series will begin with the Southern Region workshop in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on 29 and 30 September 2026. This will be followed by sessions in Guwahati on 9 and 10 October, Lucknow on 23 and 24 October, and Pune on 16 and 17 November, with the final Pune dates yet to be confirmed.

The Vijayawada event will bring together participants from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to inaugurate the workshop in the presence of Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh.

Sādhana Shrinkhla 2026 aims to take the national discussion on institutional transformation to the regional level and support practical action. The consultations have highlighted the need for a common framework that can help Training Institutes move beyond conducting courses and become strategic institutions focused on developing competencies and improving organisational performance.
