A Russian guided aerial bomb struck an apartment building in Kharkiv on Monday, injuring 22 people, including children, according to the city's mayor.

The attack took place in Ukraine's second largest city as the conflict with Russia continued. Authorities in Kyiv also reported that a Russian drone struck a petrol station in the Ukrainian capital.

Emergency services were responding to the incidents as authorities assessed the damage caused by the attacks.
