World Heart Day is being observed today, September 29, to spread awareness about cardiovascular diseases, their prevention and their impact worldwide.
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda said the occasion serves as a reminder to recognise warning signs, follow healthy lifestyle habits, manage risk factors and seek timely medical care. He also reaffirmed his commitment to promoting heart health and preventing cardiovascular diseases.
This year’s World Heart Day theme is “Don’t Miss a Beat”, highlighting the importance of paying attention to heart health and taking timely preventive steps.
