Benchmark domestic equity markets were trading more than half a percent higher during the morning session today.
The Sensex gained 462 points to reach 72,845, while the Nifty climbed 140 points to 22,696 when the latest reports came in.
Among sectors, Power, Capital Goods and Oil and Gas were the leading gainers. Hospitals, IT and Realty stocks were among the sectors trading lower.
