The National Testing Agency has started accepting online applications for the December 2026 session of the UGC National Eligibility Test. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, for the Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor positions or admission to PhD programmes.

Applicants must complete and submit their forms by the 28th of this month. Candidates are advised to apply before the deadline to avoid any last minute technical issues.

The examination is scheduled to be conducted from December 14 to 19. Applicants can visit the official website to check the information bulletin, eligibility requirements, application guidelines and detailed subject wise examination schedule.
