A young jewellery designer and freelance artist, told PTI today that he is one among the 40 or so individuals that choose to integrate Kotah miniature art into their modern profession in order to preserve the centuries-old tradition.
The Rao Madho Singh Museum Trust, which is administered by the Kotah royal family, organised a 10-day "Kotah Miniature Art Workshop" at City Palace and provided the participants an opportunity to learn about and implement the skills and techniques in-depth.
"Miniature art is a detailed art form. I have been using oil colours to design jewellery, but I am now excited to apply miniature art jewellery designing," young jewellery designer Varun Sisodia told PTI.
