Senior bureaucrat Manoj Kumar Sahoo has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner as part of a senior-level bureaucratic reshuffle effected on Saturday November 26,2022 by the Centre.
 

Sahoo is a member of the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), class of 2006.
 

According to a Personnel Ministry order, Sahoo has been appointed for the post with a seven-year contract that runs through December 16, 2023.
