Actress Raveena Tandon asserted on Wednesday that she was driving a jeep with a forest department licence that stayed on the designated "tourist path" after Satpura Tiger Reserve officials opened an investigation into a video that appeared to show her in a car getting too close to a tigress in the protected area.
In a tweet, Tandon, who visited the reserve on November 22, stated that the department provided trained drivers and guides for the safari.
The actor used the hashtag #satpuratigerreserve @News18MP on Twitter to share a video report from a local news station showing a tiger approaching a deputy ranger's motorcycle on November 25.
