Tiger Woods was forced to withdraw from this week's Hero World Challenge because he "just can't walk" after injuring his right foot.
The golfer, 46, last competed in the British Open in St. Andrews in July. He was set to return to action after a break with the PGA Tour-sanctioned event beginning on Thursday at the Albany Golf Course.
The 15-time major champion revealed on Monday that he developed plantar fasciitis in his right foot while training for the annual charity event, an inflammation of a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes.
