On Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Junior Championships in Nonthaburi, Thailand, Indian shuttlers Unnati Hooda, Gnana Dattu, and Anish Thoppani advanced into the semifinals to guarantee their nation of five medals.
 

Along with the aforementioned singles trio, India also received medal confirmations from the doubles teams of Arsh Mohammad and Sanskar Saraswat and Bjorn Jaison and Aathish Sreenivas PV.
